- ➤ On Aug. 15, the Campbell County Fire Department responded to calls that included medical emergencies on Four Corners, Hannum, and Bertha Avenues, grass fires from lightning—including a 1.2-acre G Range fire—and a two-vehicle collision at South Douglas Highway and Country Club Road, with other incidents like a railroad ties fire and activated alarms on El Camino and Hidden Valley Roads addressed throughout the day.
