- ➤ The recently passed Big Beautiful Bill will pay ranchers for cattle killed by predators—official details on whether federal payments add to state funds and the timing of reimbursements remain unclear. Jim Magagna from the Wyoming Stock Growers Association said the measure may ease pressure on the Game and Fish program that paid more than $1 million for losses last year—further clarification is expected.
