A 24-year-old woman was arrested for attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed a 54-year-old man twice in the neck on Highway 387 on May 30 before 7:47 a.m.—she was traveling with companions to Las Vegas and had reportedly smoked methamphetamine and fentanyl after stopping in Gillette.

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum will host World Atlatl Day 2025 with a Just for Fun throw event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7 —attendees will throw darts with atlatls in the field behind the museum and enjoy a build-your-own atlatl session with special guest Doug Dumbrill.

Campbell County’s average gas price dropped another 7 cents, falling to $3.08 today — continuing a two-week decline that has shaved off 17 cents total, according to AAA data.
