- ➤ Peabody Energy earned $34.4 million and sold 28.9 million tons of coal for over $937 million in Q1 2025—showing strong performance in U.S. coal demand. The company said it is sold out for planned Powder River Basin production this year—expecting lower coal demand in Q2 due to shoulder season effects. County 17
