  • Greg’s Welding, located at 1011 E. Energy St., will close on Dec. 20 after 44 years of service; owner Greg Dougherty said preparations are underway to complete remaining commitments (including welding, crane trucking and steel work) for loyal customers and vendors.  County 17
  • The Wyoming Chamber of Commerce announced that four Gillette professionals have been named among its 2025 Forty Under 40 honorees. The list recognizes emerging leaders who boost our local economy and shape Wyoming’s business landscape.  County 17

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Tuesday night the Campbell County School District Board re-elected Lisa Durgin as board chair and approved a $500 stipend for armed educators while setting 6 p.m. monthly meetings. It also received updates on finances, performance and facility projects – including an aquatic center scheduled to open Dec. 17.  County 17
