Hoskinson Contracting and Hoskinson Concrete laid off 123 workers in Gillette this week; an official said the concrete company will close permanently.

Gas prices fell this week, with the national average dipping below $3 and Campbell County’s price dropping 10 cents to $2.72; several Gillette stations now offer fuel as low as $2.63 & $2.67 as the trend continues into the holidays.

Local schools are hosting several Christmas concerts and programs this week + students will perform at venues across the county.
