🎭 Culture
The Campbell County Rockpile Museum will host its annual Christmas Crafts Family Day on Saturday, Dec.
6, from 10 a.m. to noon for children 5 to 12 who must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent. Registration opens Monday, Nov. 17 — reservations are required as space is limited to 50 children.
🎓 Education
On Nov. 11, the Campbell County School District Board approved eight bids, quotes, and contracts to support district programs and operations.
The board also gave permission to partner with the Wyoming Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Wyoming Department of Education on the Wyoming Pathways to Partnership Grant — actions that passed unanimously.
On Tuesday, the Campbell County School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved a first reading of a regulation on compensation and reimbursement for educators in the armed educator program—HR Manager Melanie Sylte presented the proposal while Superintendent Kirby Eisenhower helped develop the plan to let the armed educator committee set reimbursement levels for future adjustments.
The Campbell County School District Board approved updates to the homeschool policy and reviewed progress on several projects during its Nov.
11 meeting. David Bartlett said work at Little Powder Elementary and the Aquatic Center is on track—playground installation and occupancy are expected by Dec. 1—while transportation work continues amid budget concerns.
On Tuesday night, a large group of coaches, players, parents and fans gathered at a school board meeting to support former Camels football coach Orah Garst after her termination—showing strong local backing.
🏥 Health
The Wyoming Department of Agriculture announced that ByHeart Infant Formula products have been recalled due to an outbreak of infant botulism.
Stores are being notified to pull the formula while parents are advised to label and keep any product in the home—seeking immediate care if infants show symptoms.
