🎓 Education
At a Campbell County school board meeting, officials thanked bus drivers Deb Christopherson and Julie Parker for giving first aid after a motorcycle accident on Oct.
1st and praised Deb Wel for winning first place in a bus driver contest. The board also shared progress on school projects—Pronghorn Elementary’s improved test scores, a new aquatic center, a playground at Little Powder, and plans for a high school stadium and transportation facility that still needs $8 million funding.
The local library’s teen room is hosting a Halloween Bash today from 3:15-6 p.m.—teens will enjoy spooky tunes, popcorn, and candy.
🏛️ Government
Governor Gordon ordered that both the U.S. and Wyoming flags be flown at half-staff to honor former Secretary of State Kathy Karpan who died on Oct.
24—flags will be lowered from sunrise on her interment, Nov. 3, until sundown.
