- ➤ The Vore Buffalo Jump Foundation is unveiling its newest exhibit today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its archeology site—visitors can explore a display of local history and artifacts. Gillette News Record
- ➤ A Gillette high schooler was selected as one of 15 students from across Wyoming for the inaugural Wyoming Youth Arts Council, and the teen will serve on the panel to support youth arts programs statewide. Gillette News Record
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Mark Gordon blamed the Freedom Caucus for pushing Radiant Industries to move its proposed nuclear microreactor facility from Natrona County to Tennessee. In Gillette, BWXT hosted a public session for nearly 300 residents and announced plans to start construction on a $500-million nuclear fuel manufacturing plant next year with an in-service target date of 2030 — supported by a $100 million state grant.
