GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Lawmakers on the Joint Labor, Health and Social Services Committee advanced two bills aimed at easing Wyoming's shrinking maternity services—one to allow Medicaid coverage for freestanding birth centers and another to regulate pregnancy centers. Banner Health paused labor and delivery services at Platte County Hospital in Wheatland last September, marking the fifth hospital closure of its kind in the state. County 17
