- ➤ Former and current instructors at Gillette College spoke on the record about a toxic culture during an August meeting with college faculty and stand-ins for the Higher Learning Commission — the session did not go well. Gillette News Record
- ➤ The college built its diesel technology building in 1998 to give students extra space for projects—its design still serves the school well. Gillette News Record
- ➤ The Campbell County School District is partnering with Climb Wyoming to train 11 low-income mothers as teaching assistants this semester— the program offers job training for classroom support. Gillette News Record

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Wyoming Game and Fish Department said the 2025 watercraft registration period will close in October and boaters must complete their registration soon to enjoy the state's waters before the 2026 season. Registrations will resume on Nov. 1 with one-year options through 2026 and three-year options through 2028 — aquatic invasive species decals will also be available in October. County 17
