- ➤ The Campbell County Fire Department responded to calls on Sept. 5 that included medical emergencies, multiple vehicle collisions, a pedestrian versus vehicle incident, a wildland fire, an industrial fire, and a natural gas odor investigation across Gillette and nearby areas—covering incidents from early morning to late at night. - ➤ A man already serving an eight to 10-year prison sentence for burglaries in Newcastle and Gillette in 2021 will plead guilty to another burglary charge. Gillette News Record

- ➤ Campbell County’s unemployment rate dropped to 2.9% in July, tying it for the 14th lowest rate in the state. Gillette News Record
