Tie Siding’s Volunteer Fire Department is seeking community donations via GoFundMe to fund a $40,000 off-road UTV today — the new vehicle would cut response times to rural fires while the department faces higher fuel costs and revenue shortfalls from recent tax cuts.

Western Fuels & Houston-based Frontieras North America, Inc. have signed an agreement to build a coal processing facility at the mouth of Dry Fork Mine that will produce low-sulfur carbon from the mine’s coal.

The City of Gillette is repairing a water main break at Ross Ave. & 6th Street, which has shut off water for 20 homes between 5th & 7th.
Water service is set to resume by 5 p.m. today while the intersection remains closed to traffic.
