EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Last week, Gillette College trustees officially initiated the transfer of three county-owned buildings to the college—this move is expected to bolster educational facilities and support future growth. Gillette News Record
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Campbell County residents attended a seminar last Thursday to learn what the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passed in July means for taxpayers. The seminar prepared community members for the expected changes in tax rules. Gillette News Record
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Enroll Wyoming said the health insurance marketplace will soon offer fewer choices and higher premiums for coverage beginning January 1 while Mountain Health CO-OP exits the state in 2026. The non-profit will cut its staff from ten full-time workers to one full time and one part time employee starting today—losing 90% of its funding, its in-person meetings will mostly move online. - ➤ Campbell County Health promoted Hollie Alexander as Nursing Home Administrator at Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette—she is a native who began her nursing career at Gillette College and served as interim administrator.
