Climb Wyoming is hosting an info meeting for single moms on Tuesday, Aug.
25 at 6 p.m. at its Gillette office (405 West Boxelder Road, suite B4) to share details about a free truck driving training and job placement program that helps build stable careers.

The Wyoming Health Insurance Affordability Task Force met Thursday at the Capitol to review stakeholder ideas aimed at lowering health care premiums.
Lawmakers examined 25 cost-distribution concerns + bill drafts as they plan to boost rural care and ease costs, with the next meeting set for mid-October.
Black Hills Energy is asking regulators to approve a 32% rate hike that would add about $32 to monthly bills for 2,600 northeast Wyoming customers.
The Public Service Commission will hold a full hearing on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.
The City of Gillette announced a temporary water shut off to connect a new water line to an existing one.
Service will be interrupted on Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (map attached).

Between 2020 and 2023, nearly half of Wyoming children with ADHD received behavior therapy (a skills-based treatment) to build attention and self-control.
Experts say the approach helps families learn strategies to manage symptoms.
