Cattle industry groups in Wyoming welcomed the additional 50% tariff on Brazilian beef imports, with the Wyoming Stock Growers Association and national trade organizations saying the move will help protect American producers.
🎓 Education
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department now offers final hunter education classes in-person and as hybrid courses for hunters planning to hunt this year; students born after Jan 1, 1966 must carry proof of certification plus space is limited and classes fill up quickly.
The department warns that violators without proper certification may be cited.

Lightning from a storm in Campbell County Wednesday afternoon ignited four fires—east, west, north and south of Gillette.

A legislative committee narrowly rejected a proposal to give the Senate a role in choosing Wyoming Supreme Court justices on Tuesday—House members voted six to three to advance the measure to the 2026 session while senators voted three to two against it.
Lawmakers may reintroduce the amendment in the coming session.
