Gillette is set to host the 2026 National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug.

4 at Third Street Plaza downtown from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., where residents will meet local first responders, view emergency vehicles and demonstrations (including free food, pet adoptions, and bicycle safety tips).

Peabody Energy will end its Retirement Medical Account program for current and planned retiree benefits.
