EDUCATION NEWS

  • Federal funds for Wyoming’s Adult Education program—which helps single moms, homeschooled teens and reentry students—were withheld as officials review its expected $1 million funding. Some community colleges have already canceled summer classes while program directors express concern that cuts may reduce essential services.  County 17
  • The Campbell County School District board of trustees approved a $323.4 million budget for fiscal year 2025-2026—this 4% increase supports higher teacher pay and sets spending priorities for the coming school year.  Gillette News Record
