The 7th annual WyoGives event will run online for 24 hours on Wednesday, July 15 and will let residents learn about and donate to local nonprofits.
Michael Pearlman said donations will help nonprofits meet rising costs + donor fatigue.

Peabody Energy is among five companies to share $75 million from the U.S. government to extract critical minerals from the Powder River Basin, a move set to expand local operations.
The award boosts business in the area and supports continued mining projects.

The City of Gillette authorized temporary free wood chip distribution from the Wastewater Treatment Facility effective July 8; community members and contractors may pick up wood chips at 3101 S.
Garner Lake Road (open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week) (check in at the scale house).
The Campbell County Fire Protection Joint Powers Board met recently to review upgrades including the addition of two new 6,500-gallon water tenders that support faster wildfire response.
Officials also discussed standardizing truck equipment and tackling driver licensing challenges with plans to enhance training.
