Two local Girl Scout cadettes finished building a donation box—designed to accept donations around the clock—for Gillette Animal Shelter.
The project will help the shelter receive donations at all hours to care for its animals.
🚨 Crime
A Gillette man was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars by accepting payment for two pieces of heavy equipment he never delivered—he must also pay more than $300,000 in restitution.

The Western Athletic Conference announced on Friday, June 27 that three UW Cowboys — swimmers Andrew Cooper and Jakub Rynkiewicz and diver Jonah Mann — earned Freshmen/Transfer Academic All-WAC honors after meeting academic and participation requirements.
