Candidates for city, county, house and state offices met residents in Gillette at an ice cream social hosted by The Ice Cream Cafe today — the event offered a face-to-face chance to learn about each candidate’s plans.

UW Motorsports captured its second consecutive championship at the SAE Formula Hybrid + Electric competition in Loudon, N.H.
The student team including Gillette's Matt Cathey improved its vehicle after technical challenges and will compete in the SAE Baja Competition in Ohio in October.
