- ➤ During a special meeting on Monday, Gillette City Council approved the second reading of the proposed $151M budget for the next fiscal year. The council will hold a final reading before July 1 to decide on plans to sustain city services amid rising costs and tighter revenues. County 17
- ➤ On June 9, the Gillette City Council voted 3 to 4 to not bring back the Optional 1% funding for Gillette Reproductive Health for the next fiscal year (with Mayor Shay Lundvall and Councilmembers Jack Clary, Chris Smith, and Tim Carsrud voting against) and moved forward with a $151 million city budget for 2026.
