- ➤ A former contract worker from Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center will face trial on Aug. 25 in Campbell County court for 88-year-old Judith Duvall’s death after she walked out in freezing weather, as Bernard D. Hale (57) is charged with felony involuntary manslaughter for allegedly failing to properly monitor her and may face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. County 17
- ➤ The Gillette Police Department assisted Washington law enforcement at 2:06 p.m. on June 4 in arresting a 68-year-old man from a residence on S. Emerson Avenue after executing a high-risk warrant for a violent felony in Washington— officials say the investigation is ongoing. County 17

- ➤ Friends of the Library is hosting its Antique & Vintage Book Sale from today through Saturday at the library, where visitors can shop for antique, vintage, Wyoming & West books. Gillette News Record

- ➤ On Tuesday night, the Gillette City Council voted 4—3 to remove $30,000 in Optional 1% Sales Tax funding from Gillette Reproductive Health, reducing the clinic's financial support.
