- ➤ PureWest, Wyoming’s largest natural gas producer, is partnering with two firms to build a project near Evanston that will supply low-carbon natural gas power to data centers. The project will start at 150 megawatts and scale up to 1,200 megawatts—while PureWest works to earn a low-carbon verification certificate to meet energy customers’ needs. County 17

- ➤ Campbell County drivers saw gas prices drop by 10 cents to an average of $3.15 last week, even as the national average rose by 1 cent to $3.13—Gillette stations reported prices as low as $3.09. County 17

- ➤ Gillette College board chairman Josh McGrath criticized Campbell County commissioners for saying the county would stop funding the college—he said the county still supports it. Gillette News Record

- ➤ Residents can now secure an online firewood permit for Bighorn National Forest from the Forest Service website — removing the need for in-person visits. Forest Supervisor Andrew Johnson said the new system offers more flexibility and will later include permits for other forest products. County 17

Gordon released his 'On Brand' newsletter on Friday accusing Secretary Gray of posting deceptive social media messages about his energy plans, and Gray later posted a video on Facebook calling the comments 'bonkers.' - ➤ Most elk, deer & antelope hunters must submit their fall hunt applications online by midnight on June 2, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. - ➤ Governor Gordon appointed Ryan Schelhaas as Interim Attorney General after Bridget Hill left to join the Wyoming Supreme Court—Schelhaas served as Chief Deputy since 2019 and joined the office in 2003. County 17
