On Saturday, May 2, more than 200 welders competed at Western Welding Academy’s annual competition (172 in the high school division and 62 in the open division) as the event showcased local skilled trades.

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum will host its annual Sheepherder’s Festival this Saturday (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) in the field between the museum and Campbell County.
🏥 Health
The Wyoming Department of Health has launched an online tool to help residents find free naloxone doses (Narcan) for opioid overdose emergencies.
The Community Naloxone Resource Map lists 30 sites in 22 counties for local businesses, nonprofits, and the public.

Over the weekend, Gillette hosted the Special Olympics Wyoming State Summer Games where athletes from across the state showcased their skills.
