ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On May 2, the Campbell County Fire Department responded to six incidents—medical emergencies at Shipwheel Lane, College Park Circle, and Tyler Avenue; a gas odor check at Winland Drive; a two-vehicle accident at Skyline Drive and Westover Road; and a grass fire on Timber Creek Road caused by electrical lines that burned 0.3 acres. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Local students competed in the 17th annual Book Battle after months of hard work on memorable books & their faces showed clear highs and lows during the contest. Organizers said the event tested creativity & built skills for future challenges. Gillette News Record

- ➤ Wyoming’s BLM state director Andrew Archuleta was placed on administrative leave after a federal investigation found he broke ethics rules by accepting dinner and drinks, misusing his assistant’s time for personal travel plans, and using a government rental car for private use—Kris Kirby has been named acting state director.
