- ➤ A Gillette man faces felony possession of methamphetamine & misdemeanor possession of marijuana charges after a speeding violation on I-25 near milepost 13 in Laramie County led officers to discover 10.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 143 grams of suspected marijuana in his vehicle as detailed in court documents. - ➤ Two major coal companies in the Powder River Basin will hold conference calls next week to discuss their Q1 earnings reports. Peabody Energy’s call is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 9 a.m. Mountain Time (10 a.m. Central Time) and Core Natural Resources’ call will be on Thursday, May 8 at 8 a.m. Mountain Time (10 a.m. Eastern Time).
