- ➤ A Gillette resident asked commissioners to help end late-night crime at the Campbell County Courthouse parking garage as local residents are fed up with the area being a popular gathering for young adults—raising concerns over public safety. Gillette News Record

- ➤ Gillette College students earned several gold medals at state competitions held at the college and in Casper — some will compete at the national event in Atlanta this summer. Gillette News Record
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Gillette City Council adopted a new comprehensive plan on Tuesday (April 15th) by a 6-1 vote after strong public comment and said the plan will guide city growth and improvements in the coming years. Gillette News Record
- ➤ The Recreation Foundation has asked for city funds to build a new storage building at Cam-plex Park (site of the Festival of Lights) so parks staff can have a much shorter drive when setting up the event. City officials will review the proposal before deciding if the facility will be built (meeting date not announced). Gillette News Record
