Van Ewing Construction was awarded a $21.4 million contract Tuesday night to build a new stadium at Campbell County High School, promising improved facilities for student sports and events.
🏛️ Government
Gillette-based S&S Builders LLC secured a $2.2 million contract to rehabilitate the West Richards Street bridge over the North Platte River in Douglas, with work including replacing concrete slabs, installing structural steel and overlaying the deck.
The project will be complete by June 30, 2027.
🏈 Sports
Gillette brothers Parker and Tyrel Martinson competed in the Sin City Showdown demolition derby in Las Vegas, and Tyrel finished first in the B-main feature.
