- ➤ A fireball streaked across the Wyoming sky just before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9 in Casper, where residents noted a green flash and a brief boom shaking windows. Doorbell videos and social media captured the meteor’s rapid glow before it vanished behind trees. County 17

- ➤ The Rockpile Museum in partnership with the Pumpkin Buttes Chapter of the Wyoming Archeological Society will host a presentation on bison archaeology Thursday evening. Local residents can learn about the region's past during this museum event. Gillette News Record

- ➤ On April 9, the State Forestry Division held a webinar to launch its Forest Health Grant Program—this initiative funds projects that improve water quality, reduce wildfire risk, boost forest products or enhance habitat.
