  • Two men involved in an unsuccessful ATM jackpotting scheme in Gillette received probation (they only withdrew $20 before police caught them).  Gillette News Record
  • A Gillette man pleaded guilty to felony theft after he was accused of stealing over $275K in two machinery sales where he received money without delivering heavy equipment.  Gillette News Record

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Wyoming Department of Agriculture inspected Campbell County food places from March 24th to March 30th to check for safety issues—online reports detail violations like improper sink use and unsafe storage of raw meats and give places 10 to 45 days to fix problems.  County 17
  • Wyoming's Department of Environmental Quality said the new rule—approved by the Office of Surface Mines—is in effect after a federal pause. The rule lets closed surface coal mines use old wind turbine blades to fill mining holes, which may reduce the need for dirt fill.  Wyoming Public Media
