- ➤ Gillette residents can attend a weekend of local events, beginning today with the 14th Annual Red Wagon Gala at CAM-PLEX at 5:30 p.m. + a mead dinner at Big Lost Meadery at 6 p.m., followed tomorrow by a hat decorating party, a Prohibition Prom and Adult Bingo at 8 p.m. County 17
- ➤ Wyoming Hunger Initiative, led by First Lady Jennie Gordon, will hold a Commissioner License raffle with 300 tickets available until March 20 to support the Food from the Field program that helps hunters donate part of their harvest for community use. County 17
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Campbell County School Board met on Feb. 24 and reported academic progress at Stock Trail Elementary and Westwood High School. It announced that the aquatic center will close April 15 for maintenance and that high school renovations plus a Sixth Grade Honor Choir concert are set for upcoming dates. County 17
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Former University of Wyoming Cowboy tight end John Michael Gyllenborg will test with tight ends and defensive backs at the NFL Scouting Combine today at 1 p.m. on NFL Network inside Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. He is the first Cowboy to join the combine since 2024. County 17
