- ➤ Campbell County approves the conversion of a part-time senior lifeguard position to full-time to address pool closures due to staffing shortages. County 17
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Campbell County Fire Department addressed multiple incidents on Feb. 18, including vehicle collisions, fire alarms, medical emergencies, and structure fires, totalling 472 service requests for the year. County 17
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Campbell County commissioners approved a memorandum of understanding for a partnership between Campbell County School District No. 1 and Children’s Developmental Services to conduct activities identifying preschool-aged children in need of special education. County 17
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Campbell County Board of Commissioners approved a $15,000 grant from OUR Rescue to the Sheriff's Office for the upgrade of Cellebrite Premium software, enhancing their ability to extract and analyze data from mobile devices for investigations. County 17
- ➤ Campbell County Board of Commissioners distributed four district support grants, financed by the optional 1% sales tax, to enhance local subdivision roads. County 17
