The Campbell County School District 1 board met recently to review school performance and state bills that may affect funding.
Principal Cliff Toole reported that Recluse Elementary met its targets and Rawhide Elementary showed steady growth + met expectations in key areas.
At the Campbell County School Board meeting, officials discussed athletics at Wright Junior Senior High School and considered forming a swim team as student interest was limited.
The board also reviewed updates on parking, building renovations, and celebrated School Board Appreciation Week with staff recognitions.
