- ➤ An independent consultant found that Gillette College Community District’s work culture improved after a challenging fall season (including staff changes) and the district plans to build on these improvements. Gillette News Record
- ➤ Legislators meeting in Cheyenne on Monday, Feb. 9 will review a recalibration bill designed to adjust teacher salaries, class sizes and support services (including mental health and counseling), while also considering proposals on literacy instruction, cell phone rules and student discipline to address new education challenges. - ➤ On Saturday, temperatures reached near 57°F with dry, gusty winds and near-critical fire risks, and today is mostly sunny with a high around 62°F. Forecasters warn that a shift will bring rain Monday and a chance of light snow Monday night. County 17
