Nonprofit groups teamed up with Head Start Preschool on Thursday night at Prairie View Elementary School in Gillette, feeding families spaghetti, salad + bread rolls while offering resource information on local support.
Representatives from Second Chance Ministries, the Women’s Resource Center and the Abuse Refuge Foundation explained available services for community members.

A Gillette-based construction company, S + S Builders LLC, won a $5.6 million contract to replace two bridges on I-90 at mile 98.3 in Campbell County; work will be completed by Nov.
30. The project is part of $43.5 million in contracts approved by the Wyoming Transportation Commission.
🏛️ Government
Wyoming lawmakers are considering a voluntary water conservation pilot program that would ask ranchers and other water users in the Green River Basin to reduce usage.
The measure could be approved in the legislative session starting Feb. 9 amid ongoing regional talks on Colorado River management.
